I'M VEDO, AND I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE.
The tear drop, that sly smile, the wrinkles around a laugh - there's something about capturing a moment in time that lasts forever. After countless weddings, family, and graduation sessions, my photography style mirrors who I aim to be: candid and authentic. Stir together bright and warm tones, and you've got the ODEV experience.
I started photography for the creativity, the colors, and the final product. But that's not why I stayed and kept going. It's the relationships I've built; to be able to partake in the joy of your love story, family, celebration, etc. is an honor of mine. And to document it and produce art from it? Well, that's the dream.
Other than behind the camera, you can find me rooting for the New York Giants, brewing a light roast pour-over coffee, or riding my Peloton. I'd like to list some other activities (i.e. volleyball, reading, traveling) but between work and family (see below) my extra time is limited - and I wouldn't have it any other way!
MY WHY
Simon Sinek said it best: if you want to feel an undying passion for your work, if you want to feel like you are contributing to a greater cause, if you want to feel like you are changing the world, you must find your why. What makes me excited to book another session? What makes me look forward to the wedding date and the inherent stress and pressure that comes with it? It's knowing I'm using my talents to capture moments that make the world slow down and appreciate the details. It's being an example to my two children to chase your dreams fearlessly and find what makes you feel infinite. And when you do, never stop chasing it.
